The term “Passive Building” refers to buildings with maximum comfort for the residents during winter and summer, with minimal or zero conventional heating and without active cooling

These buildings have a defined maximum energy consumption of 15Kwh/m2 per year.
Similarly, “Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB)” are essentially fully self-sufficient
